TeeHouse is a platform for discovering, tracking, sharing, and ranking golf courses. These Terms of Service apply to your use of TeeHouse websites, apps, course pages, rankings, and related services.
By using TeeHouse, you agree to these Terms. If you use TeeHouse for an organization, you confirm you can bind that organization to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use TeeHouse.
By accessing or using TeeHouse, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by any additional guidelines or rules that apply to specific features of the service. If you use TeeHouse on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
You may use TeeHouse only if you are legally allowed to do so where you live and are able to agree to these Terms. If applicable law requires a parent or guardian to consent on your behalf, that person must review and agree to these Terms.
You must provide accurate account information, keep it reasonably current, protect your login credentials, and use only accounts, usernames, and profile details you are allowed to use. You are responsible for activity that happens through your account.
If you think your account has been compromised or used without permission, contact support@teehouse.app promptly.
You agree to use TeeHouse responsibly and respectfully. You may not use TeeHouse to break the law, infringe the rights of others, harass or abuse people, impersonate others, send spam, interfere with the service, bypass security measures, upload malicious code, or post unlawful, fraudulent, hateful, threatening, defamatory, obscene, privacy-invasive, or otherwise inappropriate content.
You keep ownership of the photos, text, ratings, reviews, lists, comparisons, profile information, and other content you submit to TeeHouse. You are responsible for your User Content and for what you choose to post, share, upload, or make visible through the service.
TeeHouse is designed to show golf-related content to other users. Your User Content, especially uploaded photos, may be visible to other users and may appear on course pages, rankings, profiles, feeds, search results, recommendation surfaces, featured placements, and other TeeHouse surfaces depending on the feature and your visibility settings.
If you upload a photo, you understand that TeeHouse may crop, resize, reorder, caption, group, or otherwise present it in ways that fit the product and the relevant surface.
When you post or upload User Content, you grant TeeHouse a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, cache, reproduce, display, distribute, adapt, modify, resize, crop, reformat, create technical derivatives from, and otherwise use that User Content to operate, provide, improve, debug, secure, and promote TeeHouse.
This license includes the right to use uploaded photos on course pages and other TeeHouse surfaces, to feature or promote them in rankings, feeds, recommendations, collections, editorial placements, share previews, and similar product or marketing surfaces, and to keep copies already incorporated into public-facing product surfaces, backups, caches, logs, fraud-prevention systems, moderation systems, security systems, and legal-compliance systems.
This license continues for as long as your User Content is on TeeHouse and afterward for any copies reasonably retained under these Terms, our Privacy Policy, applicable law, or legitimate business needs. It lets us keep using content already published or technically retained as described above, even if you later delete the original upload or close your account, subject to applicable law and our discretionary review of later removal requests.
You represent and warrant that you own or control all rights needed to submit your User Content and grant the license described above, including rights in photos, text, music, video, logos, likenesses, and metadata.
You also represent and warrant that your User Content, and TeeHouse's permitted use of it, will not violate any law or infringe any privacy, publicity, copyright, trademark, contract, or other rights of any third party, and that you have any permissions, notices, or releases that are reasonably needed for people, property, or protected material shown in your content.
You will not submit content that is misleading, unlawfully invasive, malicious, unsafe to publish, or otherwise likely to create legal or trust and safety issues for TeeHouse or others.
TeeHouse may review, moderate, blur, crop, deindex, refuse to publish, remove, limit distribution of, or disable access to User Content or accounts if we reasonably believe they violate these Terms or other rules, infringe rights, are misleading, create risk, attract abuse, or could harm TeeHouse, users, rights holders, or others.
We may also suspend, limit, or terminate accounts, reclaim usernames, and preserve relevant information for investigations, appeals, fraud prevention, moderation, legal compliance, or recordkeeping. We are not required to give advance notice in every case.
If you delete User Content or delete your account, the content may stop appearing in some active areas of TeeHouse before it is fully removed from every system. Copies may remain for a period of time in backups, caches, logs, search indexes, moderation queues, fraud-prevention systems, security tools, legal-compliance records, and similar internal systems.
If your content has already been incorporated into course pages, rankings, recommendation surfaces, feeds, featured placements, emails, screenshots, share previews, or other public-facing TeeHouse surfaces, those existing copies or technical derivatives may continue to be stored and used subject to applicable law and our discretionary review of later removal requests.
We are not required to restore deleted content, and we may keep records needed to resolve disputes, enforce these Terms, comply with law, or protect the service.
TeeHouse may display or refer to course details, rankings, photos, names, logos, trademarks, brand elements, links, descriptions, and other material from users, course operators, rights holders, public sources, partners, or other third parties.
Those materials remain the property of their respective owners. TeeHouse may use them for informational, identification, editorial, comparative, compatibility, indexing, search, mapping, ranking, course-page context, and other lawful product purposes. Their appearance on TeeHouse does not necessarily mean sponsorship, affiliation, or endorsement.
If you are a rights holder or authorized representative and want us to review content, email support@teehouse.app with enough detail for us to find and evaluate it. Please include the page URL or other location, the content at issue, what change you want, why you believe you have rights or authority, and a way to reach you.
We may ask for supporting information, proof of authority, ownership, identity, or other context before acting. We may remove, restrict, or leave content up while we review, and we may share relevant details of the request with the uploader or other affected parties when appropriate.
Not every request will result in removal. For example, we may keep content that we believe is permitted for editorial, informational, identification, comparative, ranking, public-interest, or other lawful uses.
TeeHouse is an informational and community product. Course details, rankings, recommendations, featured content, photos, reviews, descriptions, links, maps, and other data may be incomplete, outdated, inaccurate, biased, unavailable, or changed without notice.
TeeGrade, featured placements, recommendations, search results, and other outputs may be generated or ordered using user input, editorial judgment, automated systems, algorithms, or AI-assisted tools. They are provided for convenience and information, not as guarantees, objective facts, professional advice, or endorsements.
We may add, remove, suspend, or change features, content, ranking methods, visibility rules, availability, and supported devices or regions at any time. We may also impose limits, release beta features, or temporarily interrupt the service for maintenance, security, moderation, technical issues, or business reasons.
We do not guarantee that TeeHouse or any feature, course page, ranking, or stored content will always be available, preserved, or supported.
TeeHouse is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent allowed by law, TeeHouse disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, security, error-free operation, or complete and accurate content at all times.
To the maximum extent allowed by law, TeeHouse and its founders, officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use TeeHouse.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless TeeHouse and its founders, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, service providers, and licensors from and against claims, demands, disputes, investigations, damages, losses, liabilities, judgments, fines, penalties, costs, and reasonable attorneys' fees arising out of or related to your User Content, your use of TeeHouse, your breach of these Terms or your representations, or any claim that content or information you submitted violated, misappropriated, or otherwise harmed the rights of another person or entity.
We may update these Terms from time to time as TeeHouse evolves. If we make material changes, we may update the date above and provide additional notice when appropriate. Your continued use of TeeHouse after updated Terms take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Except where applicable law requires otherwise, disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or TeeHouse will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Suffolk County, Massachusetts.
You may stop using TeeHouse at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created risk, misused the service, or if we decide to discontinue all or part of TeeHouse.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including sections about User Content, licenses, deletion and retention, third-party content, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, governing law, and any accrued rights or obligations.
If you have questions about these Terms, contact support@teehouse.app.
